Compared to matte natural stone chippings, glass stones remain color-intensive even when dry. They are color-stable and do not show any signs of weathering even under extreme outdoor exposure. Therefore, the stones are almost indestructible and cannot become mossy. Through natural and artificial irrigation, the glass pebbles are largely self-cleaning.
In their delivery state, the stones are not sharp-edged, making them easy to handle, walk on and drive on, and suitable for traffic areas. Special grain sizes are available in 2.5-5 mm or 5-10 mm. We offer regular grain sizes from our warehouse in sizes of 5-15 mm, 9-12 mm, 10-20 mm, and 20-40 mm.
You can purchase glass stones in quantities of one bag of 20 or 25 kilograms, a big bag of 500 or 1,000 kilograms. One liter of bulk volume corresponds to a weight of approximately 1.32 kilograms.
As a flat roof cover, the material is also commonly used due to its insulating properties. It can be recycled without any special processing, achieving a positive energy balance when returned to the recycling process.
